NOBODY has got a baby brother, LITTLE NOBODY – an exceptional chair for kids. Like the larger version it is made entirely from PET felt – a textile made from recycled plastic bottles. With its noise absorbing qualities, easy to clean surface and light weight and non-scratching material LITTLE NOBODY is suitable for child friendly surroundings.

Danish design duo Komplot is the first to create an industrially produced chair made strictly from textile. The chair LITTLE NOBODY is molded in one piece and in one single process resulting in a simple, light weight and stackable chair meeting modern demands of sustainability in both materials and production.
In its form LITTLE NOBODY refers to a piece of cloth laid over a chair to cover and protect it. As the chair underneath the cover is removed the cover 'remembers' the shape of the chair and it has become the bearing structure of the chair itself. Hence the name - NOBODY or NO BODY. At the same time the name refers to the "shadow" side of a chair while not in use.
With LITTLE NOBODY designers Boris Berlin and Poul Christiansen turn the idea of modernism upside down. Upholstery was never accepted as good taste by modernists as it covers up the basic structure of the chair, but while respecting modernist ideas of simplicity, lightness and new forms of mass production, Komplot removes the frame in favor of the upholstery turning it into bearing structure itself.
Using a technique borrowed from the car industry to make shelves for car boots LITTLE NOBODY is manufactured from two layers of thermo pressed PET felt - a 100 % recyclable material made from used water- and soda bottles. The production process neither demands an internal frame, plastic, screws, glue or other reinforcements.
